QUANZA is redefining what it means to be a rockstar. A guitarist whose raw, untamed energy fuses black psychedelic rock and hip-hop, into a sound that feels both spiritual and futuristic. The Afro-Surinamese artist channels the spirit of Jimi Hendrix and the experimental fire of N.E.R.D., creating an electrifying ritual that lives somewhere between a punk moshpit and a spiritual awakening.

Self-taught on guitar from the age of eleven, QUANZA began blending his psychedelic rock background with left-field hip-hop beats, quickly
becoming a standout in the Dutch underground Jazz-scene. His debut track “A Death Supreme” was handpicked by CARISTA for United Identities’ Modern Intimacy compilation and gained early recognition by Louis Vuitton music director Benji B on BBC Radio 1.

His first solo single release “Neon Noir” followed with critical acclaim: gained airplay by Rinse FM, NTS, and Worldwide FM; received featured articles by Mixmag, and Patta. His debut EP “OPEN THE GATRES”, released in 2024, was praised in Jazzism and Gitarist NL, the latter nominating him as Best World/Fusion Guitarist of the Year.

QUANZA produced and featured on the opening track of Bnnyhunna’s acclaimed project Echoes of Prayer, which later won an Edison Award. His contribution was also noted in Rolling Stone Africa, further
establishing him as an emerging force in the global music scene to be reckoned with.

Now stepping onto the stage with a full band for the first time, QUANZA opens the gates to a new chapter: explosive, raw, and spiritual.
